Star-delta Time Relay

Three-phase asynchronous motor star-delta step-down start is one of the common methods to solve the excessive starting current of the motor. When the motor is started, the stator winding is star-shaped and stepped down to start. After the start, the stator winding is connected into a triangle full-pressure motion.

This star type start, star-delta starting method of triangle operation can reduce the starting current and its impact on the power grid.
